Recent ActivityClass Announcements  For the weeks of 2/15-3/8We will be completing our 5th unit in Independent Living, entitled "My Place". The unit is a thorough introduction to adult living and includes reading contracts and leases, fixed and variable expenses, and the cost of furnishing and living in a rented or purchased place of residence.
 For the weeks of 1/4-2/5We will be completing our next unit, entitled "My Insurance". This unit will discuss health, auto, home, and life insurance and will thoroughly explain the many options and types of insurance plans.
 For the weeks of 11/30-12/23We will be beginning and working on our third unit, entitled "My Credit". This unit includes information on credit APR, monthly installments, how to establish and maintain good credit scores, and explaining how the credit system works.
Current UnitBeginning on Monday, October 26th, we will be starting our second financial literacy unit entitled, "My Budget". This unit will continue through 10/20 and has many meaningful activities including budget planning and adapting based on expenditures and income.
Unit 1Our current unit in Independent Living is entitled, "My Money". It provides many meaningful activities geared toward preparing students to effectively balance and manage a budget.
